Apropos Musique - 3:00 to 5:00 PM

Apropos stunned the audience in 2010. Rarely have we ever witnessed an audience response like they received. Due to popular demand, they are booked for 2011. Don't miss them this time around!

Curt Masterson ~ Grew up in a family of singers and musicians. Singing harmonies was an everyday experience. He started playing guitar at the age of 8 and never put it down. His Father and Mother were both in the TV and Radio entertainment business in Hollywood. A songwriter and lyricist he has a special talent for connecting with a song.

Neil Henderson ~ From songwriting to producing - engineering to acting Neil has the gift and the experience. Neil has won the American Song Festival Awards for three consecutive years, had a 1 hit in Mexico, written a Broadway Musical and preformed on stage with major artists, including Richard Marx, Melissa Etheridge, Charlie Daniels, Rod Stewart and Stevie Wonder.

Stephanie Oaks ~ Ever since she can remember she has had the desire to sing.
She has participated in many school vocal groups and was invited to sing the National Anthem at the Olympic Track and Field trials in Eugene, She has also sang the National Anthem at the University of Oregon’s Mac Court.  Stephanie’s ultimate goal is singing the National Anthem at a Super Bowl.

Apropos Musique performs as an acoustic three piece or they add bass and drums for a full band sound . . . intended for dancing and at larger venues.

Whatever the forum, Apropos Musique is a must hear.

Troubaduo
Troubaduo's website.

These two troubadours share responsible roles from singing and instrumentation, to co-writing on all material. From the influential sounds of Tom Petty to Steve Earle, and Ella Fitzgerald to Janus Joplin, they play a wide variety of songwriter material including Americana, blues, rock, folk, Gospel and soul with an emphasis on wailing vocals and intense uplifting lyrics. Their upcoming album, "We Live in the Gray", even features former Tom Petty drummer Curt Bisquera who is now on tour with Sara Mclachlan.

Bryson and Jill VanCleve of Troubaduo met while performing in 2008 at Poet Roni Girl's Acoustically Speaking in the historic Room 5 Lounge of Hollywood, California where famous artists such as Nat King Cole used to perform. They became great friends recording and performing together, then fell in love and got married later that year. As they both had the same desire to tour on the road full time, they decided to leave and loose their Los Angeles apartment and jobs for a life and calling as National touring artists performing around 125 shows yearly. The duo still calls the road their home, but has roots from the concrete to the country including Jill's upbringing in a Southern California beach town, to Bryson's in Arkansas. They are California country folks with a positive outlook to live the one life they have been given while spreading peace and love, and are a can't miss act at the Gold Beach Brewfest.
